Built for the UK FIRE community

The UK's financial independence planner
for retiring early.

Model the bridge to your pension, with projections built on your real portfolio. FI Pace is made for the UK FIRE community — not a generic retirement calculator with FIRE bolted on.

Planning tool only. Not financial advice.

The problem

Every retirement calculator assumes you'll work until 67.

You're not planning to. But here's the catch the generic tools ignore: you can't touch your pension until 57. So if you retire at 50, you've got a gap — years where you need income but your pension is locked. Most planners don't model that gap at all. They show you a pot, an age, and a flat assumption pulled from nowhere. FI Pace is built around the problem early retirees actually have: getting from the day you stop working to the day your pension unlocks — and knowing your money lasts the whole way.

What makes it different

Built for the way early retirement actually works

01

The bridge gap, modelled properly.

Retire before the Normal Minimum Pension Age and FI Pace calculates exactly what you need to bridge the years until your pension unlocks — the per-year shortfall, the total, and whether your ISA, GIA and cash actually cover it. The one number a generic retirement tool won't give you.

02

Returns from what you actually hold — not a number we made up.

Most tools ask you to guess a growth rate, or pick “optimistic / cautious” from thin air. FI Pace derives your expected return and volatility from your real portfolio composition, then runs it through Monte Carlo simulation. Show your working.

03

Coast, Lean, Full — the milestones that actually matter.

FI Pace speaks FIRE. Track your Coast FI age (when you can stop contributing and still hit your target), Lean FI, and Full FI — not just one generic “retirement age.”

FAQ

Questions, answered

Is this financial advice?

No. FI Pace is a planning and modelling tool. It shows you illustrative scenarios based on the information and assumptions you provide — it doesn't recommend products, investments, or what you should do. For advice, speak to an FCA-regulated adviser.

How are the projections calculated?

FI Pace derives your expected return and volatility from your portfolio's composition, then runs Monte Carlo simulation across many market paths. Your assumptions are always visible alongside the results, and outputs are illustrative scenarios, not forecasts.

Is my data secure?

Your data is encrypted in transit and stored using Supabase's SOC 2 compliant infrastructure. You can permanently delete your account and all your data from within the app at any time. FI Pace is a planning tool, not a bank or investment adviser.

Can I cancel the trial?

Yes — cancel anytime before the trial ends and you won't be charged.
